These photos are not be in the order that they were taken!
Photo 1 * I took photo as we went down the Strand. Both sides were packed!
Photo 2 * You can make out the Yellow Submarine above the heads of the crowd as the tension mounted.
Photo 3 * The vantage points were varied. Most kept their feet on the ground. There are three up lamp posts and sign posts, as well as the fire station roof being full, and the hydrolyic lift being used to display the allegence if the station!
Photo 4 * In this dark photo you may be able to make out the first people onto the fire station and the lift being used to ferry them there, as well as flying the red flag.
Photo 5 * The crowds were amazing as the streets looked like Anfield on matchday!
Photo 6 * The Liver Building seemed to attract people. Although don't ask me what is happening over to the right coz I ain't got a clue!
Photo 7 * The copter had been hovering over me for a few minutes when I noticed the plane approach very close to it, or at least it appeared close when I saw it!
Photo 8 * The crowd on the right side of the road rushed over, and clammered as the bus approaches. For those with good imaginations the bus can be seen next to the traffic light on red!
Photo 9 * The bus appears everyone is excited, then we notice that the first bus has "PRESS" written on the front. Top marks to that genius who decided the buses would be a couple of feet apart! Nice one!
Photo 10 * Why is Stevie Gerrard about to launch the Worthington Cup at the Press pack on the bus! The front says "Triple Decker Bus!"
Photo 11 * Sami takes all the credit as he salutes the crowd. Is the guy infront of me shouting "Power to the People!"?
Photo 12 * The TEAM!
Well from left to right: #7 V Smicer, #27 G Vignal, #13 D Murphy (hiden - see the top of his head?), #14 V Heggem, ?????, #25 Igor Biscan, ???? (hat), #8 E Heskey, #24 B Diomede, ????, #30 D Traore (Hello Djimi, you waving at me?), #2 S Henchoz (that wouldn't be the hand you kept the ball out of the net with versus Arsenal in the Final would it?), ???? (he looks lost!).
Photo 13 * The first sight of Hawreden's Superstar Son. Michael Owen can be seen next to Carragher on the back of the bus (next to my thumb)! What does it say on the back?
Photo 14 * "Tell yer Ma, WE DID IT!"
Photo 15 * "Tell yer Ma, WE DID IT!" close up! Nice one!
Photo 16 * The "Wine for my men, we ride at dawn" banner on the Yellow Sub is covered by a 'borrowed' (I assume) banner from the EUFA Cup Final!
Photo 17 * Final Photo - The crowds start to go! What a day!!
